Tomorrow morning I'll start my trip to Nederlands for the European Go Congress which is held in Groningen city and I am going to drive 1700km in 2 days with a night stop in Prague.

The main tournament, the European Go Championship will start on sunday morning and there will be 10 rounds played to decide the European Champion. Among the strong players who will compete for the title this year there will be Catalin Taranu 5p, Alex Dinerchtein 3, Cristian Pop 7d and other top european players from Russia, Nederlands, Hungary or Czech Republic, so the field is tough as usual.

Besides the main tournament I will also join lightning and rapid side tournaments and probably teams.

I am going to record the games from the main championship and post them with comments of the pros here along with photos and other news in the blog section of the site during the stay in NL.
